Elders
The Elders are the lay leaders of the congregation. They are elected members who are ordained to serve as the governing body, called Session, of the church. Elders are called to be spiritual leaders, strengthening and nurturing the faith and life of the congregation.

Deacons
The Deacons work with the ministers of the church to provide pastoral care in the congregation. Their role is one of sympathy, witness and service, following the example of Jesus Christ. If you find yourself in a situation of distress, please reach out to them through the church admin at 410-674-6400 or admin@arkanddove.org or directly through the deacons list. Some of our current ministries include:
- Provide oversight of the list of prayer requests and praises
- Deliver meals to members in need
- Contact and visit members in need
- Reach out to less active members
- Coordinate support for memorial services
- Help members to celebrate milestones and joyful moments in their life
